Plastic finger support replacements cost $35.00/each piece. You may be experiencing that your glove or mitt is floppy or not holding its shape. Often gloves and First basemen’s and Catcher’s mitts are made with plastic flat spoon shape rigid supports inserted in the thumb and pinky areas to maintain their shape. They are installed originally in the felt padding and are not readily noticeable. Our experts can evaluate and determine that these supports need to be replaced. We are also able to custom make plastic supports additionally for installation in your glove.

We can install a microSorbTM space age super shock absorbent padding in your glove. The cost is $40.00/glove or mitt. microSorbTM is a revolutionary material specially developed for this application. The material is thin flexible lightweight and super shock absorbing and unobtrusive. We place the material in the area of your glove or mitt where the ball hits in the finger and palm area of the pocket. microSorbTM takes the sting out!  GLOVE DOCTOR Pastime Preservations and Repair Itemized Pricing

How long is it going to take to finish my glove?
We work on gloves as they come in. Our usual turnaround time for re-lacing is a week to ten days. Your item deserves special attention and can not be rushed.  Unusually, work could take as much as six weeks depending on the volume of repairs we have at the time. Its best to contact us and describe your request with us prior to sending your item. We do not give any gloves priority treatment. Many so called glove repair services offer a rush service option for an extra price.  No one’s glove will be neglected because someone can pay more to push theirs to the top of the list.

Can you give me an average cost of glove repair work?
Total re-lacing is $60.00 or $15/per individual lace replacement. Most leather repairs are between $100.00 and $200.00 plus shipping and handling.
